Lord of War (US, 2005)

Politically spot on revealing the corruption of arms deals (the Blair Government scuppered the investigation in BAE’s (alleged) scandalous deals). Not surprising that it didn’t work at the box office then; and the prevalent voice over makes the piece a tad too didactic. No surprise that this is an independently produced film and well done to Cage for starring in it. (OAR) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399295/
